An Eye is I

It’s all in the eye of the beholder–how you look at life, that is. Whether you see the glass as half empty or half full.  Whether you see purpose in your life or believed that you are simply here by accident.

It’s all about perspective.

It’s all about you.

or me.

or  “I.”

As writers we have to keep positive in the face of change. We must have faith that we are still needed and that our dreams are worth something to other people.  Regardless of how we communicate those dreams, we will be needed. The new technology available in today’s publishing arena is simply a new language that we need to learn so that we can continue to connect to readers. It’s going to take time and patience, but it can be done.

It’s all in how you look at change.

Is it a challenge or a death sentence?

Well it’s about time Missy Raven! I’ve waited and waited for a post and what a post. Short and hitting the nail on the head. Even though yesterday my cup was bone dry, I rose today to see it half-full!

Isn’t that weird how a day can change perspective in how you and I see things? 🙂

Thanks for this, now my cup runneth over! 🙂

I’m so glad to return the favor at last! Your poetry is uplifting, especially the thoughtful poems because they are reflections on where you are at the time and that is often the place many of us are too.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Raven

  2. exactly. precisely why we all need to listen, really listen and seek out opinion contrary to our own, it helps expand how we think about things . thanks for the reminder.

      Hey Michael,

I’ve been busy wrestling a short story. Thanks for stopping by. You’re doing a great job with your site. Love the featured writes.

  3. Perspective is everything! I love how life, a story, a movie, even a color can be perceived differently. It gives us endless possibilities.

  4. Laurel, old Q is trying to get back into the Real World (missing a foot or so of intestine — suggest you abstain awhile from sausages, unless of course you want to give our fiend dog Magoo a snack). Thank you for this delightful little piece: much to the point and and clever — “palindrome”? But you are right; who gives a damn. I’ve been following you and friends from hospital and and recovery. Miss you all (do you know ought of Grumps?).

You’re steaming, Ms Raven! Congratulations. Hope to rejoin y’all soon. Q hounds doing fine; Mrs Q handling her burden (at 88!).

Big Champ sends greetings to Abend and co. Remy? OK, but on medication.

All the best, from what remains of Q.

    Peter

Nearly forgot: Wanted to ask where you got the great theme for your WordPress blog?

Sorry Raven for interrupting, but I haven’t seen Q in ages!
Been thinking about you Q!!! Miss you at this session of f2k!!!
    Joni 🙂
